Become a LEED Green Building Professional!

Learn what you need to know to pass the LEED Green associate and the LEED AP for Building Design and Construction exams. Qualified attendees can take all three days. Day one covers Green Associate exam prep core concepts and includes a certificate of completion that meets the green associate educational program prerequisite. Day two covers Building Design and Construction exam prep topics including specific credit requirements, LEED administration, strategies to maximize credit achievements, exam taking tips and a Certificate of Completion. Day three includes LEED project management experience. Gain access to a real LEED registered project through LEED online, discuss strategies to increase credit achievements, review job documentation, learn how to manage a LEED project, assign team member responsibilities and submit documentation through LEED online.

How do I Qualify?

This free LEED Professional Exam training is available for California based employees with 1-100 employees. We will need each employer to fill out the Employment Training Panel Participating Employer Retraining Certification Statement for MEC Alternative Funding Agreements Form.

What is the catch?

This is a well-known government program from which other companies have benefited for over 20 years. We can provide you with references of other companies using the program if necessary, or you can find out more by searching online for "California ETP training." We are here to help encourage higher wages with higher skills and certifications lending to building business in CA. The successful outcome will be more employment opportunities and growth. This is your tax dollars at work; We receive compensation from the State of California for the training we provide, so we can offer it to you at no cost. All that is required is a refundable $100 deposit per student. This is to ensure students that have been prequalified to attend come to the classes through their employers come to classes. Space is limited and costs are incurred regardless if students show or not. The $100 is refundable upon completion of the course and proof of application for LEED exam is provided.

How many employees can a company send for the free training?

There is no limit to the number of employees a company can send, since California employers pay the annual Employment Training Tax (ETT) for each employee. As long as all employees meet the eligibility requirements, they are entitled to our free training.
